Here you will find a variety of information about my writing, as well as what many editors expect from submitted manuscripts. Most of these subjects were requested by educators as topics for my school visits. Please follow the links below to reach the various pages. There are so many wonderful letters in my files that it was hard to choose which ones to use here. In my opinion, middle schoolers are a delightful age group--still innocent in many ways, but growing up fast. It was always a pleasure to mingle with them and talk about reading and writing.

I hope you will find this information helpful as you learn more about the writing and publishing process. Not all writers work the same way, but this is the way I wrote my first book.
